It started with a ribbon.
Our founder, Sir Edmund Hale, was a knight who lost his sister to a tower. He stood in her empty room the morning after she was taken – her ribbon on the windowsill, the window still open. He picked up the ribbon and said “never again.” He swore he would never send one person alone, and in 1488 he built a company around that promise.
Our mission
Bring every trapped princess home, keep every royal family line going, and end the age of lost kingdoms.
Our vision
A world where no princess stays in a tower longer than 10 days, and every kingdom has a plan on file before the witch arrives.
Every rescuer wears a black cloak with one silver ribbon.
The color of the ribbon the founder's sister left on her windowsill.

We don't use dark magic.
We don't take contracts from two kingdoms at war.
We never leave a team member behind.
We'd rather lose the gold than lose the team – or the princess.
At dawn, at a castle gate, a king's gold sat on the table. He wanted a rescue in two days, with no scouting. Sir Edmund said no. The gate closed behind him.
a rescue without a scout report isn't brave. it's the fourth broken shield on the king's table.
Princess rescue is a regulated trade, and we like it that way.
You need the king's written permission to do a rescue. You have 40 days to bring the princess home. And you can't work with dark magic.
The table stakes just to be considered: a signed contract from the king, proof of fire-proof gear, and at least one team member who has faced a witch and lived. We clear all three on every engagement – ask anyone at the Kingdom Summit.
About that Summit: on the first morning of every one, banners from every rescue guild hang from the rafters, a knight in borrowed armor rehearses his pitch, and vendors sell maps to towers nobody's verified. We've never sold a map we didn't draw ourselves.
We don't invest in looking like knights – we invest in getting people home. If you want pageantry, hire the Round Table. If you want your daughter back, hire us.
Short. Clear. No fancy language.
The calm of a fire chief. The dry humor of a ship captain. The gentle voice of a doctor who just saved your child.
You'll never hear us say quest, damsel, destiny, or honor – any word a singer would use in a song about knights. We write like people who have actually climbed towers in the rain.
The numbers we stand on.
